Irish director in talks for ‘Die Hard 5’

Dundalk native film director John Moore is reportedly the first pick for director of ‘Die Hard 5.’ The previous director, Noam Murro, is not able to do another ‘Die Hard’ flick because he’s in line to make the prequel to ‘300,’ ‘Xerxes.’

The new movie will star John McClane and his son, this time fighting Russian criminals. Bruce Willis has starred in the first four ‘Die Hard’ films, and says that he’s up for doing two more - but that’s it, according to RTE Ten.

"At the moment, I can run and I can fight on screen. But there will come a time when I no longer want to do that,” he said. “That's when I'll step away from the Die Hard films."

The movie is written by ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ writer Skip Woods.
