Groundbreaking Irish band Seo Linn have a lot to be happy about right now. Not only have they had continuous success with their involvement in Colaiste Lurgan’s infamous YouTube videos but they have also performed at this years hugely successful iFest in Boston during the summer and now to top it all off they have released their new original single entitled D’Aon Ghuth Amháin (Of One Voice).

This is the second original song the band have released this year. Their first single “Ar Scáth a Chéile” released back in April was written by the band while on a trip to Uganda with the charity Self Help Africa. The song has become such a huge success that it now has over 50,000 views on Youtube and has been used in various promotional videos for Ireland.

Seo Linn’s new song, D’Aon Ghuth Amháin is the perfect mixture of indie, modern pop and traditional Irish folk music, so much so, that you’ll find yourself tapping the oul foot the minute the beat kicks in.

The 7 band members; Stiofán, Keith, Jenny, Daithí, Cathal, Kevin and Conchúr, all in their early twenties, hail from all corners of Ireland and have brought together their musical talents to create this wonderful melody that is, what I can only describe as a treat for your eardrums.

This is definitely a band to keep an eye and an ear out for! Check out the video for their new song D’Aon Ghuth Amháin below.
