Holy God!

The Catholic Church has given two big thumbs-up to "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."

This is a huge coup for the Potter producers given that the Vatican had previously accused the movies of promoting witchcraft and the occult.

Just last year, the Vatican's official newspaper, L'Osservatore Romano, had slammed the movies as diabolical, saying they promoted witchcraft.

The paper also singled out Harry Potter saying he was the wrong kind of hero.

However, there was a sea change in the Vatican this year, resulting in a hugely positive review.

The paper said that the battle between Harry and the evil Lord Voldemort clearly depicted the eternal struggle between good and evil.

"There is a clear line of demarcation between good and evil and [the film] makes clear that good is right. One understands as well that sometimes this requires hard work and sacrifice," the paper said.

It also heaped praise on the film for using Lord Voldemort to clearly illustrate why the quest for immortality is wrong.

Surprisingly, it also gave the thumbs-up to the many adolescent romances which some critics are unhappy with saying that the relationships achieved the "correct balance" for a good example for teenagers.
