Jane Lynch who plays Coach Sue Sylvester on "Glee" is set to guest host "Saturday Night Live" this weekend.

Talking about the upcoming show Lynch said: “It was great news, and like any milestone in my life, it excited me but also scared me. But I'll do it! I like being scared, actually. It pulls the best out of you."

In advance of this weekends show "SNL" have released a promo showing Lynch and "SNL" regular Fred Armisen practice several introductions for her hosting spot.

The 50 year-old admitted she is a huge fan of the show. She also expressed regret over Will Forte's departure from the popular comedy show.

'I'm very familiar with it. I know there are some new members, but it's a great cast and I'm a fan of a lot of them, Kristen Wiig and Fred Armisen and so on. I'm sad that Will Forte has left, because I think he's amazing and I would have loved to work with him, but it's a great group.'

Fans can tune in to NBC this Saturday night at 11.30pm to watch Lynch’s performance on "SNL".
