A new short movie starring Jack Gleeson, best known as King Joffrey in “Game of Thrones,” and Aaron Heffernan, who played Detective Gavin in RTE’s “Love/Hate,” has been posted online.

The short film “Ringsend” tells the story of two struggling writers who move in together and allow jealousy to come between them.

Gleeson, who played a contemptible character in HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” had said that he was planning on quitting his acting career. This seems not to be the case, although this is apparently his first role since King Joffrey.

This short movie, described as an eight-minute “pseudo-noir thriller,” was directed by Craig Reynolds and written by Padraig Z. Molloy.
