Swedish former supermodel Victoria Silvstedt, who has been the face of Chanel, Christian Dior and Armani, thinks Ireland’s Miss World Rosanna Davison has what it takes to make it in the United States.

Silvstedt also took part in Miss World in 1993 and made it into the top three. Just like Davison (29) she was then given the chance to pose in Hugh Hefner’s “Playboy” magazine.

The Swedish beauty has every faith that Davison will have as much success as she’s had.

She told the Irish Independent, “She has a great chance, the Irish are very special in America.

“Most Americans say they have Irish heritage, so you are one step ahead.”

Silvstedt was in Dublin to launch the Victoria Silvstedt by Marie Meili Autumn Winter 2013 Lingerie Collection. She obviously has a soft spot for Irish Roz Purcell and Thalia Heffernan showcased her new line by stripping off.

She said she was more than impressed with the two models and added, “I love their piercing eyes, they are so beautiful.”
