Evanna Lynch: Star says she constantly confused with Luna Lovegood in real life

Ireland's Harry Potter star Evanna Lynch says she's often confused with her on-screen character Luna Lovegood.

Evanna, who is 18, plays a schoolgirl in the movie series and says people constantly assume that she is younger than she really is.

"Everyone just thinks I'm really young and that I look about 12," she says.

The star, from Termonfeckin in County Louth, must have eaten plenty of greens in her childhood to keep that youthful glow!

Co-star Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy, says interviewers always get it wrong with Evanna.

"I remember that interview you did where that lady thought you were 13," he says.

"Then she tried to blag it was a compliment!"

The public scrutiny is set to intensify when the next instalment of the Harry Potter franchise is released.

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" comes out in November 2010 and the first official trailer was released this week.
