A Dublin model who was scouted by HBO for a role in “Games of Thrones” has quit the show, as she felt her scenes were too much like “soft porn”.

Lisa Nolan (21), an Asset model, has said she decided to leave the show after she discovered her character had to film an erotic scene.

Speaking to the Evening Herald she explained: "I was aware that the scene was slightly raunchy, but I thought it wasn't a sex scene and they said they would give me skin patches for my breasts. But when I got there they wanted me to be fully topless and in the scene I had to strip off. So I pulled out at the last minute.”

"I just couldn't do it. I've just started out at Assets now and I'm trying to build a career.

"People could have taken snap shots of the show and every time I did a shoot people would remember that scene," she explained.

Initially delighted when she was contacted by producers to play the role, the model got a shock when she was brought to Belfast for filming.

"To me it looked like it was going to basically be soft porn. As well as modelling I study Sports Physiotherapy so I want to be taken seriously, I wouldn't if I had given in and filmed the scene. It was my own fault really because I didn't research the show properly. The money was amazing and the idea of it all was so glamorous but I'm glad I walked away because now I have my dignity intact," she said.

After realizing the extent of nudity she pulled out straight away. Describing the experience as “surreal” she said she is happy she now knows she has a face for TV at least.
