Colin Farrell and Oscar-nominated actress Jessica Chastain are set to film ‘Miss Julie,’ a film adapted from a once banned story of a romantic relationship between an Anglo-Irish aristocrat’s daughter and her father’s valet.  Farrell is playing the valet in the film shooting in Co Fermanagh throughout April.  ‘Miss Julie’ has a budget of 4.5 million euros and will shoot in Castle Coole.

Farrell, who is awaiting production, has been making the most of his short time in Ireland.

He’s been seen enjoying the luxurious Killyhevlin Hotel and Lough Erne Resort that will soon host Barack Obama when the G8 Summit comes to Fermanagh in June.  Farrell has also been spotted shopping in Enniskillen and is apparently planning a trip to Castleknock to see family and friends.

Farrell hasn't shot a film in Ireland since  ‘Ondine,’ a story of an Irish fisherman who believes he discovers a beautiful selkie, that was filmed in Co Cork in 2009.  Farrell will have no time to waste as he’s scheduled to return to the U.S. in May to shoot ‘Solace’.
