Cillian Murphy is set to star in the new Irish directed thriller, ‘Wayfaring Strangers’.

Irish director Stephen Bradley will lead the flick which tells the story of a group of British paratroopers captured by German soldiers in a remote farmhouse.

Set during the Second World War, while the German soldiers decide t settled in the farmhouse with their captives, unbeknownst to them, a Jewish couple is hiding in the attic.

Variety reports that Michael Gambon is also in negotiations to star in the film.

The €4 million-budgeted period thriller is a French-Irish co-production and will be produced by Chic Films and Ireland’s Treasure Entertainment.
