Tesco recently granted the wishes of two Irish families in what has to be the greatest Christmas publicity stunt ever thought up by an advertising team.
TheJournal.ie reports that earlier this month, Tesco sent their publicity team to a supermarket in Ballincollig, Co Cork to ask their customers “What makes your kind of Christmas?”
The shoppers— including a dad who had to work on Christmas Day and a woman who was missing her sister in Canada— had their dreams come true when Tesco later called over to their houses and granted their wishes.
The dad was given a weekend away after Christmas to spend time with his kids and the woman was given tickets for her sister to come home.
