Canadian rocker Bryan Adams gears up for Irish gigs

Bryan Adams, the Canadian rocker who just became a new daddy at age 51, was looking forward to his gigs in Ireland at the end of last week – one in Dublin and one in Belfast.

“I love Ireland. I remember early days playing there and being amazed by the audience. Irish people love music. I’ve recorded in Ireland, toured in Ireland. Next thing I’ll be living there,” Adams told the Sunday World...

Seems like Martin Sheen can’t get enough of Ireland these days.  He and his son Emilio Estevez were recently there to promote a small indie film they worked on together, and now Sheen has announced that he’ll take part in the Galway Film Fleadh next month to promote another Irish-themed movie he stars in, Stella Days, in which he plays a local parish priest trying to establish a cinema in town back in the 1950s.

Though his mother was a native of Tipperary, Sheen is no stranger to Galway – he famously studied there for a semester a few years ago.
