“The Guard” and “Harry Potter” star Brendan Gleeson is set to join the cast of Robert Redford’s “The Company You Keep”.  The Irish actor will star alongside “Twilight” star, Irish American actress Anna Kendrick, Terrence Howard and Sam Elliot.

The Oscar-winning director, Redford, takes the helm of this political drama as well as starring in the main role. Redford will play the role of a former militant who is on the FBI’s wanted list for a bank robbery carried out 30 years ago.

However, Redford’s indentity is uncovered by an eager young journalist (played by “Transformers” star Shia LaBeouf).

According to reports in Variety, Kendrick and Howard will play FBI agents while Gleeson will play the role of a retired police chief who first investigated the robbery.

Starring in other small roles and cameos in the movie are Susan Sarandon, Nick Nolte, Julie Christie, Richard Jenkins, Stanley Tucci, Chris Cooper, and rising actress Brit Marling.

The movie is currently filming in Vancouver.
