It looks like Bradley Cooper has one less thing to worry about as he wraps up filming The Hangover Part II, and no, we are not talking about rekindling a romance with former flame Renée Zellweger.

Though reports were circulating that bad-boy actor turned train-wreck Charlie Sheen was set to make a cameo in the sequel to the immensely popular comedy The Hangover, Cooper set the record straight with ShowbizSpy saying "he won’t be in the Hangover Part II because we’d have to go back to Bangkok and that is not going to happen, unless they have a time machine.”

No comment from Sheen's camp regarding the rumors, though it's safe to assume that he probably does claim to own a time machine.

Sheen has been keeping himself busy recently by bringing his “Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option” show on the road, and appearing on various radio and television programs proclaiming to be fit and clean. The massive publicity buzz surrounding the Irish-American actor came to a head after he lambasted his employers on the hit CBS show Two and a Half Men and was subsequently fired.

Sheen is not the only actor to not be "winning," however. Mel Gibson was set to appear in the film which also stars Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis among others, but rumors were rampant that the cast was not happy with Director Todd Philips's vision of including such unexpected celebrity cameos. Gibson was thus axed from the film with Philips explaining that "I realize film-making is a collaborative effort, and this decision ultimately does not have the full support of my entire cast and crew."

Gibson has endured a mass media blitz after allegations of domestic abuse circulated in the summer of 2010 with the release of incriminating voicemail messages on his former girlfriend's phone.

Like Gibson, Liam Neeson's appearance in the film was cut after it was reported the Irishman would not be available to reshoot scenes. Ironically Neeson was cast to fill in for Gibson. Despite the set backs that the film has experienced over the past year, it is sure to be another hit for Cooper and co. when it hits theaters on May 25, 2011.
