American Idol raised some $75 million for charities around the world last year with its "Idol Gives Back" special, and the goal for this year's broadcast on Wednesday, April 9 is $100 million. A bunch of stars have signed on to lend their support, including Bono, who was also on the top-rated show last year.

Here, Bono is pictured in Salaam, Tanzania visiting with a 14-year-old boy named De Loi, who lost both of his parents to HIV/AIDS. Bono will talk about the teen on the broadcast, and also about his relief work on behalf of Africa.
