Bill Clinton is set to join the cast of the sequel to “The Hangover” according to People magazine.

The cast are currently filming the second installment of the comedy in Thailand.

Clinton aides confirmed to People magazine that the 64-year-old, who plays himself, shot his cameo on Saturday in Bangkok.

The former U.S. President was invited to speak at Government House in Bangkok on Friday last. He delivered a lecture titled 'Embracing Our Common Humanity'.

According to TMZ, extra security were present during the filming of the scene.

The original film was set in Las Vegas and became a global hit last year. The blockbuster won numerous awards including a Golden Globe for “Best Motion Picture”.

Liam Neeson is also set to cameo as a tattoo artist for Hollywood comedy.

Directed by Todd Phillips, the sequel includes original cast members such as Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha.
