The Big Apple Feis and Fleadh hits New York City Sunday, March 25th!

The Big Apple Feis & Fleadh - New York City's only Irish dancing and culture competition - will take place next Sunday March 25th, 2012 at the Penn Plaza Pavilion right across the street from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. This is a day-long event with competitive dancers and musicians from as far away as Australia. Even President of Ireland, Mary McAleese, has sent a letter of congratulations to the organizers of the event.  In part, this letter commends Unateresa Gormley, TCRG who heads up the committee who has brought this festival to New York City the last few years.  President McAleese encourages everyone in the greater Metropolitan area to celebrate their Irish heritage as part of this fun and entertaining weekend.

In 2011, the Big Apple Feis and Fleadh 4th Annual event hosted more than 1,600 dancers and musicians.  Ladies in the 18 & Over competition actually graced the cover of Feis America Magazine!
