The Boyzone star, who married girlfriend Storm Uechtritz in Scotland last week, believes the weather was "perfect" because his late bandmate and mother, Marie Keating, were both looking down on them.

The 38-year-old singer said: "I know that my Mam, Steo and Storm's granddad had a hand in making sure the weather was perfect - the one thing that was out of our hands."

The 'No Matter What' hitmaker and the Australian beauty tied the knot in front of guests, including Dannii Minogue, Brian McFadden, as well as his other band members Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Mikey Graham.

Keith also told HELLO! magazine: "Steo is here, that's for sure."

The band later joined Ed Sheeran on stage to provide the entertainment at the luxury Archerfield House estate in East Lothian.

Ronan, who has three children, Jack, 16, Missy, 14, and Ali, nine, with ex-wife Yvonne Connolly, previously revealed the couple chose to marry in Scotland because it was "neutral ground" for both his and Storm's families.

He said: "All of our families are going to be there - everyone. Rather than doing it in Australia or in Ireland we said we'd go to neutral ground and meet there. It's a very special place for us."

Ronan and Storm met when he served as a judge on 'The X Factor' Australia and got engaged in April.
