Is Nadia Forde Rory McIlroy’s new birdie?

Nadia Forde.

Only a few weeks ago Rory McIlroy was engaged to Danish tennis pro Caroline Wozniacki, but that was then and this is now.

After dumping Woz over marriage jitters, Rory seems to be bouncing back nicely with another woman, if tabloid reports are to be believed. Last weekend the golf star and a bunch of buddies racked up a €7,000 ($9,500) bar bill at the trendy club House in Dublin, but Rory spent most of the evening “getting close” with Irish model Nadia Forde.

The couple supposedly took off at 3 a.m. in Rory’s chauffeured Mercedes and weren’t shy about revealing their budding friendship.

“Rory’s group had about 15 lads with them and there were a few other girls as well. But Rory and Nadia were chatting all night. They were sitting together and laughing and joking. They really didn't care who saw them,” a source told the Irish Mail on Sunday.

The dark-haired beauty, who is also an aspiring singer, was spotted the next day in Northern Ireland with a woman who is engaged to McIlroy’s best friend, so perhaps there is something to the rumors – even though last month Forde denied she was teeing up to be the next McIlroy birdie.

“I wouldn’t be betting on me if I was anyone going into Paddy Power. He doesn’t even have my phone number. And I don’t have his,” the model said.

Time will tell . . .
