To celebrate the (fictional) birthday of character Christian Grey from the "Fifty Shades of Grey" series, Universal Pictures released the first official film still of leading man Jamie Dornan in character.
Looking good, Jamie!
The Northern Irish actor and model – best known for his terrifying turn as serial killer Paul Spector in the BBC series "The Fall" – snagged the highly coveted role last October.
Dornan was born in Holywood, Co. Down and raised in the suburbs of Belfast. He is a first cousin, twice removed, of legendary leading lady Greer Garson.
Fans of the "Shades of Grey" series are eagerly awaiting the film’s release in February 2015. As the wealthy and dominant Christian Grey, Dornan stars opposite Dakota Johnson (daughter of Melanie Griffith), who plays ingénue Anastasia Steele.
