Mystery birdie catches Rory McIlroy’s arm on Manchester night out.

Rory McIlroy is making the most of his new life as a single man after another night on the town – this time with a mystery brunette in Manchester.

The world’s top golfer was a special guest at Old Trafford on Saturday when his beloved Manchester United lost their opening game of the new season to Swansea.

Now a report in the Irish Sun says McIlroy scored better than his soccer team when he hit the city’s nightspots.

The report says the 25 year old appeared to be inseparable from the mystery woman as his entourage enjoyed a boozy Saturday evening in Manchester.

McIlroy happily posed for photos with a bevy of beauties during his night but seemed to reserve all his attention for one brunette.

She was snapped on his arm when he returned to the luxury Lowry Hotel at 3am on Sunday morning.

The report says that once inside the hotel he only had eyes for the mystery girl.

One onlooker said: “He certainly seemed to be getting on well with the girls.

“He’s clearly enjoying life as a single man and didn’t care who saw him on Saturday night. With his appeal he can probably now catch the eye of any girl.”

McIlroy has been linked with Dublin model Nadia Forde and Belfast socialite Sasha Gale since his split from Caroline Wozniacki.
