Dublin native Colin Farrell is teaming up with the Oscar-nominated ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ star Jessica Chastain for the film adaptation of the 19th century play ‘Miss Julie.’

The Hollywood Reporter writes that the play ‘Miss Julie’ was penned by Swedish playwright August Strindberg in 1888. The play takes place over one night in 1874 and discusses topics including sexuality, class and gender.

Not many details are out yet about the new film, but Farrell and Chastain are said to be co-starring along with Samantha Morton. The project is being directed by Liv Ullmann.

THR reports that Farrell is currently filming ‘A Winter’s Tale.’ He has two other projects on the pipeline - ‘Saving Mr. Banks’ alongside with Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson and ‘Dead Man Down’ with Noomi Rapace.

Chastain is fresh off a Golden Globe win for her performance in ‘Zero Dark Thirty,’ and is nominated for an Academy Award for the role. She’s in theaters right now as part of the horror flick ‘Mama,’ and is also starring on Broadway in ‘The Heiress.’
