Ed O'Neill's Irish accent is absolutely spot on.

Modern Family star Ed O’Neill impressed RTÉ 2FM reporter Stephen Byrne in 2017 with his spot-on Kerry accent during his impression of the late Irish politician Jackie Healy Rae.
The actor, who was heading into Leonardo DiCaprio’s Global Green party, regaled Byrne with the story of his visit to Kerry and recalled Jackie’s stance on drink driving.
“I went by his town and I saw the photo of him as you drive in. He’s waving, with the comb-over, you know, and as you’re leaving he’s saying ‘goodbye, comeback’ because he owns the pub and the hotel and so forth,” said the former Married with Children star.
“And when we were going by he had a thing going where he was trying to get the blood alcohol level raised because he wasn’t selling enough Guinness.”
The veteran actor then whipped out his best imitation of Jackie Healy Rae, much to the RTE reporter’s amusement.
“Then I saw the ad that he made where he said ‘In my area, you hit a cow on the road and that’s about the worst you’re doing’”
Byrne was impressed. “You nailed that accent by the way.”
