Do professions of love get any better or more Irish than this? Irishman Cliff Henry raised the bar when it comes to marriage proposals, roping in Keywest to play his childhood sweetheart’s favorite song as he proposed on a stunning days atop Killiney Hill, in Dublin. The couple even received some words of wisdom from U2 front man Bono who happened to be walking on the hill with wife Ali.

Henry, the groom-to-be, started to hatch this romantic plan back in November 2014 when he asked the band Keywest, on Grafton Street, if they would help him propose to his long-term girlfriend, Fiona O’Hehir. They agreed and camera crew and secret filming schemes were put in place. The plan was to have Keywest play her favorite song, “On Raglan Road”, and Cliff  get down on one knee.

Little did they know that during set up on Killiney Hill, in South Dublin, the band bumped into U2’s front man Bono and his wife, also his high school sweetheart, Ali Hewson. Bono, out for his constitutional recovering from recent surgeries, couldn’t let the moment pass without imparting some wisdom.

He joked “Don't do this - there's a gang of his here... it's an intervention!"

But eventually he added "Marriage is like an act of grand madness - you jump off on top of Killiney Hill and discover that you actually can fly."

As for the actual proposal, it was clear that Fiona was in total shock. Cliff wore a go-pro camera on his chest telling his unsuspecting now fiancée he was testing it for work.

After she’d said yes and they were sipping on champagne Cliff said to camera “Big thanks to Keywest, and to Fiona, for making me the happiest man alive."

We have to admit this is one of the more impressive proposal videos we’ve seen:
