The Here Comes Everybody Players present contemporary Irish play Terminus

Terminus, an extraordinary and challenging play by Mark O’Rowe, was only once before performed in Boston when it toured the US, UK and Australia in 2011 with Dublin’s Abbey Theatre. It depicts the dark underside of modern Dublin life with humor, fantasy and rhyme. It challenges our sensibilities and is not for the faint-hearted. The Abbey Theatre production of the play won a Fringe First Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008.

Darkly funny, deeply moving, and dangerously candid; the play weaves the simultaneously gritty and surreal tale of three characters, an ex-schoolteacher on a good Samaritan crusade; a lonely young woman looking for love; and a killer who sold his soul for a singing voice; during one violent, tender, surreal Dublin night.

The show will appear at the Davis Square Theater for two performances only on September 19 (7pm) and September 21 (5pm) Tickets: www.hce-players.org $22 on-line; $25 at door; Students/Seniors: $16 on-line; $19 at door
