The Corrigan Family Memorial Fund has been established to support the family of recently deceased Boston man, Sean Corrigan.

Sean, formerly of Shrawee, Cregganbawn, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo, tragically lost his life on February 22 when he fell through a skylight while inspecting the clearance of snow from a warehouse roof on Will Drive, Canton, Boston.

The Corrigan Family Memorial Fund has since been set up by family and friends to support Sean's wife and three children in the aftermath of this tragic accident. The fund aims to collect $125,000 for the family to cover funeral expenses and keep up with bills as they face the difficult challenge of continuing without Sean.

42-year-old Sean, a father of three, had lived and worked in Boston for a number of years. A carpenter by trade, he first moved to Boston with his future wife Sheila in the mid-90s, before returning to Ireland and living in Meath. He returned to Medfield, Boston with his wife and family in 2013. He was laid to rest last Sunday in Guesdian Cemetery, Belcarra, Co. Mayo.

Sean, along with his wife Sheila, and three children, Michael, age ten; Matthew, age six; and Jessica, age four, quickly made strong friendships on their return to Medfield in 2013 and his family and friends hope to return the support Sean offered throughout his life by helping his family get back on their feet after this sudden loss.
