The Boston Irish Business Association (BIBA) will host their next Speaker Series event this November with Boston's new Chief of Economic Development, John Barros.

Appointed earlier this year, John and his team are leading a broad effort to streamline and support the areas of focus that contribute to Boston’s economy including tourism, jobs and employment, business development, and real estate development. This will be a great opportunity for BIBA members to engage in a dialogue with Chief Barros on issues specific to their individual business...and also how BIBA can play a role in expanding Boston’s brand on a global stage.

As an organization, BIBA view government as an important partner to business and have a great track record in working side by side with the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in their various economic development initiatives. BIBA view this event as a first step in what they hope will be a long and fruitful relationship with Chief Barros and the City of Boston.

The event will take place at the Algonquin Club of Boston, 217 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA 02026. Doors will open for registration/check-in at 6:00 PM with remarks beginning around 6:45. Cash bar and light apps provided. For more information, please visit www.bibaboston.com
