Setanta College is an Irish third-level college that provides a range of strength and conditioning courses, from short introductory courses through to a degree level program. All programs are fully accredited and recognized internationally. The National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) also officially recognizes Setanta College’s program in strength and conditioning.
Setanta College’s undergraduate programs are designed to provide the strongest and most comprehensive foundation in the study of strength and conditioning. Whether the student already has a background in health and fitness and is looking to broaden their skill set or they are simply interested in studying strength and conditioning at undergraduate level, it's an excellent choice.
Students are mentored by a faculty comprised of sports industry practitioners who are accomplished experts in their fields, as well as dedicated educators with special expertise in Setanta College's online learning methodology.
Students can choose to stage their studies, with a progression option from certificate up to degree level.
The program can be broken down into 3 stages:
Stage 1: Certificate in Physical Fitness & Conditioning for Sport
Stage 2: Associates Degree in Strength & Conditioning
Stage 3: Bachelor of Arts in Strength & Conditioning
Each stage is typically 18 months, although students can also proceed at a slower pace and complete their studies at their own pace. There is also a 9 month course in resistance training and weight training for sports.
Flexibility and a faculty made up of experienced professionals are just two of the many advantages students enjoy at Setanta College.
There's also the state-of-the-art online library, their intuitive, easy-to-use learning platform, and the numerous links within professional sports. But perhaps the most important advantage Setanta College offers is their personal touch – their total dedication to student success and personalized support. It's what makes Setanta College unique among a student’s many educational options.
