Farrell, Mary Beth
Mary Beth Farrell is the vice chair of AXA Advisors, and executive vice president of AXA Equitable in New York.
Born in the heavily Irish Scranton, Pennsylvania, Farrell attended the University of Scranton. Farrell joined AXA Equitable in 1999 as a senior vice president and deputy controller. Prior to this, Farrell was senior vice president and controller at Green Point Financial/GreenPoint Bank.
A third generation Irish American, Farrell has visited Ireland four times.
When asked what her Irish heritage means to her, Farrell quoted famous Irish actress Maureen O’Hara, who once said “My heritage has been my grounding, and it has brought peace.”
