Drachnik Coyne, Denise
DENISE Drachnik Coyne is the chief information officer for Chevron’s corporate departments and services companies. Chevron is one of the world’s leading integrated energy companies, with subsidiaries that conduct business worldwide.
A native of Los Angeles, Drachnik Coyne is responsible for the information technology (IT) efforts of 25 varied corporate departments and services companies. She is currently partnering with them to derive better business value and performance from IT by driving towards a business-driven, less complex, more integrated IT systems.
Prior to joining Chevron, where she has held several key positions, Drachnik Coyne worked for IBM in sales. Drachnik Coyne earned a master of business administration and bachelor's degree in criminology from the University of California at Berkeley.Drachnik Coyne traces her Irish roots to Co. Meath, where her grandmother hails from.
“My father’s cousin, Paul Brennan, is a brother of St. Patrick and runs a school in Kenya. I always think of him as being ‘Irish’ -- an extremely kind, giving, selfless individual and full of great stories!” she says.
Drachnik Coyne and her husband Michael live in the San Francisco Bay Area with their daughter Kathryn.
