Brennan, Elaine

ELAINE Brennan is the CEO of Socrates Healthcare in New York, an international provider of EHR/EMR and practice management software to healthcare providers. Specializing in solutions for physicians, consultants and primary care practices, the company focus is on providing technology leading solutions. 

The company will launch its first U.S.-focused product next month, Yeats Clinical, which is a cloud-based product. A native of Co. Clare, Brennan is a graduate of RTC Galway, University Wolves England and VUB Belgium.

She moved to the U.S. in 1995 with a Morrison visa, which her mother applied for without her knowledge, and first lived in Miami and Boston before settling in New York City.   She and her son Cian O’Brien travel back to Ireland frequently.

“My Irish heritage is exceptionally important to me in both my personal and professional life.  It represents belonging to a country that is positively recognized worldwide,” says Brennan.

“The Irish have contributed to the great American story since independence and I am very proud to be a part of that great tradition.”
