Andrews, Carol
CAROL Andrews is head of Global Client Service and head of Service Delivery in EMEA BNY Mellon Alternative Investment Services.
As head of Global Client Service, Andrews is responsible for Europe, Asia and North America client services. She is also responsible for all service delivery (accounting, investor services and middle office) for BNY Mellon Alternative Investment Services in EMEA.
The Dublin native joined the Securities Services unit of Allied Irish Bank in 1996 and became part of the joint venture with the Bank of New York. At AIB/BNY, she served in positions of increasing responsibility in settlements, custody, operations, relationship management and client services within asset servicing.
In 2006, after the Bank of New York purchased AIB's share of AIB/BNY, Andrews took over as European head of the Alternative Investment Services Client Services team.
In January of 2009, Andrews took on her current role of managing BNY Mellon Alternative Investment Services' Client Service group globally. In addition to this role, in September of 2010 she was appointed as head of Service Delivery in EMEA, and she relocated to Ireland in November 2010.
Andrews says, “Irish people are recognized for their hard work and reliability. We are not afraid to work hard, and this has meant that we have become integral members of the communities in which we live and work.”
Andrews is also dedicated to the Irish community. She is actively involved in BNY Mellon's Global Community Partnership, establishing this in Ireland and working with the current charity of the year, the Simon Community.
