Michael J Reilly is CEO and Co-founder of Western States Biopharmaceuticals, Inc, is a privately held biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapies that treat inflammatory diseases while preserving immune protection. The company was founded by experts in the field of autoimmune diseases who recognize that, despite a growing market of over $16B, there is a critical need for more efficacious and safer therapies for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. Western States Biopharmaceuticals employees 25, and has plants in Aurora, CO; Ventura County, CA; and Beijing, China. Reilly is also the Founder and Director of OnCirc Diagnostics, Inc. Reilly has 22 years of international leadership experience in marketing, business development, strategy, and finance at Amgen, Baxter, Sanofi, Sterling Drug, and Eastman Kodak.  His last position was as Head of Strategy and member of the Senior Management Team at Baxter BioScience. Reilly earned a BA in Molecular Biology from University of California Berkeley, and a MBA from the University of Michigan. A third generation Irish American, Reilly’s family came from Cavan, Longford, and Meath, and he has visited these places. Reilly’s plan for the future is to continue to turn ideas into new therapies for unmet medical needs.  Married with four children, Reilly resides is Ventura County, California.
