James J Loughlin is an Independent Director of Celegene Corporation, a $3bn multinational biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Summit, NJ and committed to improving the lives of patients worldwide. Celgene seeks to deliver truly innovative and life-changing drugs for patients. Loughlin retired as senior partner at KPMG, LLC where he was director of pharmaceutical practice. Loughlin also served as independent director at Datascope Corp and Alfacell Corp. Loughlin traces his heritage back to County Clare. Loughlin and his wife Dorothy reside in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and they have grandsons with particularly Irish names –Sullivan, Keller and Quinn.  His plan for the future is to pursue opportunities as an independent director.
