Michael Goggins works at John Hopkins Medical Institutions where he is a Physician Scientist, Department of Pathology, Professor of Medicine, Attending Physician and Gastroenterologist, Director of the Pancreatic Cancer Early Detection Research Laboratory, The Sol Goldman Pancreatic Cancer Research Center. A graduate of Trinity College Dublin and The Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin, Goggins is a first generation Irish American who has studied and lived in Ireland. Goggins’ plans for the future are to advance pancreatic cancer through basic and translational and clinical research, as well as practicing as a Gastroenterologist at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Goggins is married and lives in Baltimore, Maryland.
