Thomas J Flanagan is The Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President at Amgen, Inc, a $15bn biotechnology company, with over 17,000 employees in 46 countries. A former nuclear Submarine Officer, Flanagan has been with Amgen since 2004. A graduate of the U.S Naval Academy, MIT, U.S Naval War College, and Harvard’s JFK School of Government, Flanagan is a third generation Irish American. Flanagan’s great grandmother was born in Cavan, and his great grandfather in Leitrim. Born in New York, Flanagan now resides in Santa Rosa Valley, California, with his wife and two sons.
