Reynolds III, Tom
TOM Reynolds III is a former assistant attorney general for the state of Illinois and a veteran of more than 20 jury trials.
Along with another partner at the Chicago law firm Winston & Strawn, Reynolds holds the distinction of having secured the highest jury award ever collected in the Seventh Circuit of the U.S.
Reynolds' clients have included American Appraisal Associates, Baxter International, Carbon County Coal Company, FMC, Jefferson Smurfit Corporation, Gannet Co., Gould Inc., Multimedia Co., Northern Trust Company, Philip Morris, Salomon Brothers, United Airlines, VMS Realty and Wirtz Corporation.
Reynolds is a member of the boards of directors of Georgetown University and Smurfit Stone Container Corporation, and is a recent past president of the Better Government Association in Chicago. He is president of the Brain Research Foundation.
Reynolds received a BS in business administration from Georgetown University in 1974 and a JD from Emory University in 1977.
Reynolds is a third-generation Irish American.
