O'Neill, Eric
ERIC O’Neill currently serves as the general counsel for CHF International in Silver Spring, Maryland, and is a partner and director of the Georgetown Group.
CHF is an international development and humanitarian aid organization. O’Neill oversees legal matters for the organization. The Georgetown Group is an international firm whose clients are helped by O’Neill in matters of or fraud, acquisitions, investments and security.
O’Neill’s experience ranges over a variety of fascinating matters. His work with the FBI helped to capture notorious spy Robert Phillip Hanssen, the story of this capture inspired the film Breach.
O’Neill served as a counterintelligence and counterterrorism operative for five years before leaving the bureau. After leaving the FBI, he joined a multinational law firm where he gained further experience in matters of security services and homeland security contracting.
O’Neill traces his Irish roots back to Dungannon, Co. Tyrone. He is married with a young daughter and resides in Maryland.
