Moore, Thomas

THOMAS Moore is a senior partner at Kramer, Diloff, Livingston & Moore in New York, a leading medical malpractice firm.
In Moore’s 19 years as KDLM’s senior partner, large awards have gained him a reputation as one of the most successful trial attorneys in the U.S., as well as the National Law Journal’s Lawyer of the Year honor twice. To date, Moore has had more than 83 verdicts in excess of $1 million, and has settled hundreds of cases for multiple millions of dollars each.
Moore’s career encompasses advocacy, research, writing and charitable work, such as establishing scholarships at his alma maters, as well as an endowed chair in Trial Advocacy at Fordham Law School.  He is also on the Irish Studies Council at Notre Dame.
He lectures frequently for various lawyers’ groups and other professional organizations all across the country.  Along with his wife and partner, Judy Livingston, he is also a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates (an elite group of the top 100 trial attorneys in the country), a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a member of the International Society of Barristers.
Moore has been cited by New York magazine and Super Lawyers magazine as one of the best lawyers in New York. He has been repeatedly listed in Dragonlaw as one of the top 500 lawyers in the country.
Moore graduated from Catholic University with an STL degree. He received a JD from Fordham Law School.
Moore is a native of Co. Waterford. He came to the U.S. when he was 17 with his mother and siblings. His father was a Garda (Irish police officer) who died when Moore was young.
