Maureen E. Mahoney is a partner at Lathan & Watkins LLP in Washington, D.C.

She focuses her practice on appellate practice, constitutional law and litigation. Mahoney was ranked by The Washingtonian as one of the top five lawyers in Washington in 2007.

In addition she has appeared on several other important lists, ranking her as an important figure in constitutional law.

She received a JD from the University of Michigan. Prior to that she attended Indiana University.

Mahoney is married with two children. Her great-grandfather emigrated to the U.S. from Co. Cork.
