Hagerty, Jack
Jack Hagerty is a partner at Shefsky & Froelich in Chicago. He practice areas include insurance, litigation, corporate finance, banking and financial institution and eminent domain.
Hagerty is a member of the Chicago Bar Association. In 2007 he was named as a Leading Lawyer and an Illinois Super Lawyer. Also in 2007, he was named one of the top lawyers for commercial litigation in Illinois by Chicago Lawyer.
Hagerty earned a BS in accounting from St. Mary’s College and received a JD with high honors from Kent College of Law.
Hagerty’s grandparents came from Co. Clare, and arrived in the U.S. in 1918. He is a member of the Young Irish Fellowship Club, the Celtic Lawyers, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Men’s Club, and is one of the original shareholders of Chicago Gaelic Park.
Along with his brother and sister, he hosts the Hagerty Family Irish Hour, the longest running ethnic radio program in the country which was started by his father in 1951.
Hagerty is married with three children.
