Gorman-Phelan, Maureen P.
Maureen P. Gorman-Phelan works as a principal court attorney to judge for the Office of Court Administration in Rockland County, New York. She is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Supreme Court as well as assisting the chief court attorney on office policy, supervision and administration.
Gorman-Phelan also worked as a supervisor for the office of the district attorney in the Bronx, where she reviewed arrests and acted as a liaison between complainants, police departments, corrections and court staff. Prior to that she worked in the trial division of the Bronx district attorney’s office.
Early in her career, Gorman-Phelan served on the grand jury and criminal court in the Bronx. She was also an associate at Mendes &Mount LLP in New York for three years, where she conducted legal research on a variety of areas of federal and state law regarding insurance.
She attended Pace University School of Law in White Plains and Manhattan College where she majored in finance.
