Goodrich, John P.
John P. Goodrich is a partner and vice president at the law firm of Goodrich and Goodrich, P.C. in Pittsburgh.
Goodrich went into private practice following his graduation from Duquesne University School of Law, and merged practices with his brother Bill in 1993.
Goodrich was one of the first criminal defense lawyers in Allegheney County to try a case involving DNA evidence. In recent years he has concentrated his practice in personal injury and product liability cases.
Goodrich was named Irishman of the Year in 2006 by Pittsburgh Iron City. He was on the national Super Lawyer list in 2006 and 2007, and the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers from 2006-2009.
Goodrich traces his Irish roots to Galway on his father’s side, and Mayo on his mother’s. He is a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Irish Society for Education and Charity and the Irish American Unity Conference.
Goodrich is married with one child.
