As the head of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom’s international litigation and arbitration group in New York, John L. Gardiner focuses his practice in the resolution of complex, high exposure, multi-jurisdictional disputes before federal and state courts, as well as leading arbitral institutions.
Gardiner has experience in disputes involving energy, insurance, telecommunications, construction and finance sectors. He has also acted as arbitrator in complex international disputes and as a mediator in intricate corporate and partnership separation situations.
A graduate of the University College of Dublin, Gardiner is admitted to the bar in New York, Ireland, England and Wales.
