Farrell, Robert C.
Robert C. Farrell is a professor at the Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut, where he has taught since 1984. He was named Professor of the Year in 2003 and 2009.
Farrell earned a BA from Trinity College, an MA in classics from the City University of New York, and a JD, cum laude, from Harvard. He has published 14 widely cited articles on equal protection and has been the director of the Quinnipiac Summer Program at Trinity College since 1995, as well as serving as a visiting scholar at Yale Law School from 1990-1991.
A member of the New Haven Gaelic Club, Farrell is a second generation Irish American. His grandparents hailed from counties Mayo, Westmeath, Tipperary and Cork.
Farrell is married to Mary-Jean McGarrity and has three daughters, Aileen, Maureen and Deirdre.
