John  M. Corcoran is the principal of the Law Firm of John M. Corcoran in Philadelphia. He received a BA from Villanova University, and a JD from Widener Law in Pennsylvania.

Corcoran has been active in Irish affairs for over 30 years. He is a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, a charter member of the Brehon Law Society and a member of the Irish Society.

Corcoran’s mother hailed from Co. Fermanagh, and his father from Co. Mayo.  Corcoran has rehabilitated the family home in Lough Erne, Co. Fermanagh.

Corcoran and his wife Loretta have two children, Conor and Mary Brigid.
