Thomas A. Carroll is associate general counsel at Ethan Allen Global, Inc.  Ethan Allen is a leading interior design company and manufacturer and retailer of quality home furnishings with a network of approximately 300 design centers in the U.S. and abroad.

Carroll earned a JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law with honors in 2000.

Prior to joining Ethan Allen, Carroll previously practiced labor and employment law with Berchem Moses & Devlin P.C. and Robinson & Cole LLP, both in Connecticut.

Prior to attending law school Carroll worked as a wage and hour investigator with the state of Connecticut Department of Labor Wage and Workplace Standards division.

Carroll has received the Aspen Law and Business Award for Excellence in the Study of Evidence, the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in the Study of Evidence, and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in the Study of State and Local Taxation.

Carroll traces his Irish roots through Tipperary on his father’s side, and Fermanagh on his mother’s. He is a member of the Irish American Home Society of Glastonbury, and the Irish Heritage Society of Milford, both in Connecticut.
