Daniel J. Callahan is a managing partner at and president of Callahan & Blaine in Santa Ana, California, and has been a pioneer for California employment law, suing newspapers and other business entities that have wrongfully classified workers as independent contractors. He has exposed the California underground economy and continues to work combating it.

Callahan can also boast two of the three largest personal injury settlements in Orange County history, the Daniel v. City of Dana Point case settled at $50 million, and the Dohrman v. Allied case for $28 million.

He is a graduate of University of California School of Law at Davis and Western Illinois University. He is admitted to the bar in California and Hawaii.

Callahan is married with two adult children and lives in California. He is a member of the Celtic Bar Association.

His father’s family hailed from Co. Cork and his mother’s family, the McCahons from Co. Clare.
