The former boxer from Ballymena can still pack a punch at the box office as his latest hit Wanted has proven, but it is the big man’s talent playing the likes of Michael Collins and Oscar Schindler that makes Liam Neeson a heavyweight in Hollywood.
His latest role, as a Protestant rattled by guilt after killing a Catholic during the Troubles in "Five Minutes from Heaven," sees Neeson deliver another strong showing in a film that doesn’t shy away from difficult subject matter.
Finally set to team up with director Steven Spielberg to play Abraham Lincoln, fans can look forward to another epic performance by the Co. Antrim native.
