"an economic boom" and an explosive boom from your kitchen faucet when gas surges out with your water! It will never be safe to fracture deep rock formations to free trapped natural gas, which then penetrates soil and underground water systems. Ecosuicide.

Well, if anyone ever saw fracking done with the massive destruction of the land they would never support it. It is appallingly destructive. People need to be very careful about supporting this. I've seen it and it is horrific.

Fracking activities bring explodng pipelines like the rent explosions in Sisson W Virginia, venting of God knows what at dehydration stations and Compressor Sttations which recnetly occurred in WyomingCounty PEnnsylvania, noise pollution, air pollution, water pollution, sound and light pollution, drils and spills, truck accidents, increased drug and alcohol use, high spike in rents where industry workers need for housing displaces those of local residents and more. Soon much of the US natural gas will be exported while we are left with all the negative impacts. You can't drink money! I wonder how many compressor stations, gas wells etc. Mark Cuban has on his properties. I'm guessing none.
@jackinnj - unconventional slick water horizonal hydrofracking has not been used since the 1950's but since the 1990's in the US. Look up the Haliburton Loophole. If an industry is so safe why do they need all the exemptions?

#joreily -- fracking has been used in the US since the 1950's, and you wouldn't go long futures if you thought a lot more supply was coming into the market -- go pick up a text book on micro-economics.
Gov. Cuomo should see the movie. Take Sheldon Silver for the ride. Western NY from Elmira to Buffalo would undergo an economic boom it hasn't seen since Erie Canal was bult. Meanwhile, the Pennsylvanians are getting the jobs.

Mark & CO. probably are buying up FUTURE SHARES in this process.....I guarantee He and his other stockholders will not be living in any proximity to the drilling sites where the land and the water is polluted by obnoxious gasses that are pumped in to extract Gas from the shale bedrock. Irefutible evidence is available to show these terrible side effects.....upsurge in CANCER, and even FAUCET WATER that ignites with the strike of a match.
Beware folks ,billionaires will tell you anything to enhance their GREED. J.O'R.
